Some Kind of Vision

April 9, 2019

Based in Sheffield, Mirage have been on the scene for a while, boasting quite a large range of juices and even their own mechanical mod. They’ve gone one step further and released the new ‘Frusion’ range, which I’ll be talking about today.

‘Chews’ is a juice I can really get my teeth into, while not literally it’s still a great fruity flavour not synthetic at all and really does remind you of all those penny sweets scoffed at a young age.

‘Pop’ is a combination of refreshing raspberry and a tantalisingly sweet passion fruit if this was in a can I probably crack it open and take a chug right now. The great thing about ‘Pop’ is the way the Raspberry plays on the tongue - not only is it very present in the inhale it’s also present in the exhale, with passionfruit adding a complimentary note.

I’m quite happy that they’ve decided to release a juice that tastes just like one of my favourite desserts, the Peach Melba. ‘Melba’ is spot on, before trialling I was concerned, as I’ve been let down by peach flavours before. Nothing to fear here, this juice goes in guns blazing. I was nothing less than satisfied.

Finally, we have my favourite: ‘Jellies’. Here’s the thing - I know I like it, but I can’t put my finger on what fruit flavour it is. Sometimes I get hints of pear and apple, other times it’s straight-up summer fruits. Either way I’d advise you try it for yourself, I’m sure you’ll be a convert as well.
